What is Dedicated Assistance?
Each of our plans include a dedicated virtual assistant (VA). You will work with your VA on a one-to-one basis, continually submitting tasks directly to this person. Your VA will grow to know you, your work, and your preferences—all while learning to anticipate your needs without you having to repeat yourself.
I just signed up! What next?
First, welcome aboard! We will begin locating the best possible VA for you using the information you shared during the signup process about your working style and personal preferences. After we’ve determined who would be the best fit for your needs—we’ll send an email connecting the two of you! We suggest hopping on a quick call soon after. We aim to introduce you to your VA within two business days of signing up.
Will I need to train my VA?
All AFA Technologiess are usually experienced and get initial training at the AFA Technologies Lab to make sure they have the basic skills needed for the job. You will have to spend a little bit of time on training the VA yourself in order to agree on the best ways to communicate, introduce them to your company and explain how you like to work to achieve the best results.
Can my VA handle scheduling?
Absolutely. Your VA can coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage your Google Calendar with ease. Simply share and grant your VA access to manage your calendar. It is that simple! Our VAs exclusively use and manage Google Calendars. At this time we cannot guarantee support for Outlook, iCal, or other calendar applications, though we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
What is your policy regarding holidays?
Full-time assistants are entitled to a 14 day paid holiday a year and part-time assistants to a 7 day paid holiday excluding your country’s holidays. They will only be able to take the holidays after working with your company for at least 3 months. From our experience, giving your VA a holiday will make them feel valued, happy, loyal and motivated to help you at all times.
Where will be my VA located?
All of our VAs are located in the India and you'll work with an assistant in any timezone of your preference: We currently have clients in USA, UK and Europe where we can happily support there needs—wherever there are. Please be aware that your VA will be working from Indian time zone (IST) when completing your tasks.
Will my VA be working for other clients too?
You can discuss that with your VA very openly. If they are working full-time, they will only be concentrating on your company. However, if your assistant is working with you only part-time, they will probably be working with more clients as well. However, they should always inform you about it to make sure you can both manage your time well.
What sort of tasks can my VA do for me?
AFA Technologiess can help you with data research, admin, customer service, social media, marketing, booking travels and hotels or any other specific tasks that you would train them to do for you. What skills and experience my VA will have?
We will find the assistant that will have your required skills and they will also complete the Initial Timely Course where they will be trained on how to use different types of software and best communication techniques to make sure they can be a great asset to your company. Most VAs will have a university degree in fields like Business, Administration, Marketing or Languages.
How can I communicate with my VA?
We always give advice on the best way to communicate with your VA at the very start of the relationship. Your assistant will be trained on how to use Slack, Skype, appear.in and email. If there is any other software that you prefer to use for communication or setting the tasks, you will have to train your assistant on how to use it.
Cancellations & Refund Policies
If you leave us, we'll miss you dearly but we won't hold you back. Monthly memberships can be canceled at any time, though we are unable to prorate membership cancellations or refund due to unused time. All cancellation requests will go into effect at the end of your current monthly subscription. To cancel, just email your assistant or contact our Support Team: firstname.lastname@example.org and ask us to cancel your subscription.
Termination of Service
In darker news, we reserve the right to terminate the service of a AFA Technologies client at any time — for any reason. Should this occur, we will give you a prorated refund at the standard monthly rate for any period for which you have already paid. That means that rarely and under great duress we may end our relationship with a client for any number of reasons including but not limited to the following: If the client is constantly requesting tasks outside the scope of their service plan and we're unable to find a solution by scaling back the requests If the client is abusive to his/her assistant or any other AFA Technologies team member.
